lost glasses
I accidentally left my glasses on a school bus that took us on a field trip today. My mom said that she wasn't going to help me or get me new ones, but she said to check out with our teacher to see what bus it was. I am so worried because I can't see like at all, and I thought that my mom of all people would help me find them, but she said right to me that she wouldn't. What should I do to find them exactly? (Note: These are the same buses that take us to and from school each day.)

that was mean of your mom to do...specially if she knows that you cant see at all....u could tell her to take you to the bus place and then see if someone reported some loss glasses and if not ask if you can check all the buses.... but i really hope you find them. because i wear glasses and my vision isnt that bad when i take them off.... but it doesnt look as clear as it do with glasses and it fills wierd.....i just lost my glasses but i have to pair of them and plus my mom cared so she went to the place were i dropped them and she got them back for me...i think its best to have twopair

Talk to your teacher about if any glasses have been turned in, then get the company that runs the bus service for you and get a phone number to contact them.

Sometimes parents get upset and they say stuff they don't mean. I would let her cool down for a few days and ask her again. If she still wont do it then I would have the teacher talk to her and show her how it is effecting your performance. If she still wont get it for you I don't know. Who know's maybe they will be cool and buy you one. They did that for me before. But if she does buy you a new pair, you gotta do your best to keep up with them like buy one of those nerdy chains or put a note on your phone every day before you leave to remind you to look for them. Or maybe tell her that you will get a summer job and work it off. If you are too young to get a summer job, then I would say ask her if you can work for her cleaning the house and work it off after she get's you a new pair.

You're on the right track with talking to your teacher. The school should have a record of what buses take which kids to each place. When you have found the bus number, talk to the bus driver to see if he/she found your glasses, or if any kids turned them into a Lost And Found.
