I'd really like to start a teen book club (maybe with around 10 members, give or take a few).
Any ideas how I can start this?

First of all, talk to friends and see if you can find a few people who might be interested in participating in your book club. Then, talk to a teacher at your school you're comfortable with, English, Writing, and History teachers are good to start with for a book club and see if they can help you by talking to their classes and finding more people interested. You can also talk to your school librarian, or the public library, they promote book clubs of all kinds and are usually very willing to help out with this. Find out about putting up fliers in your school or the library. I teach English in high school and I commend you for your motivation to put something like this together! I would help you or sponsor the club if you were my student, so talk to these types of people, many would be glad to help someone with the desire and drive to make this happen! Best wishes for all you do! [ genericusername07's advice column | Ask genericusername07 A Question ]
