it usually takes just sucking on his neck hard , but don't bite .

All you do is basically suck. Use your tongue to make it feel nicer.. and do not use your teeth because it WILL hurt and could even draw blood.
Practice on your hand if you wish.
You'll also notice it doesn't work on some places.. Well, some wont be as visible as others. The neck is the main spot.
