audacity...please help
i jsut downloaded the program that records. i am a songwriter and i do believe that i make great songs. so i want to add music now i have my piano and guitar and i want to play and sing at the same time while recording, basically i want a recording studio right in my house..haha. can someone please tell me another program that can do this and can fix my voice in case i dont like how i sound? also, can someone tell me how i can use audacity becuase i dont understand it. thanks i rate!!

Get a microphone and record yourself using Audacity's "record" button. That's it. There is no way to modify your voice in a way that would make it better-sounding. There is no way to take your voice out of a song that has music in it.
Audacity can be used to cut out portions of the song, read the documentation for more info.

i have that same program ...but just record wutever u want and then click on what you have recorded so it will highlight blu-ish purple. Then go to effects tab and browses through to see what you would liek to enchance to your clip.. Hope i was at least somewhat help but hope it works out
