Audrey Hepburn has become my new idol. I love her acting, how she used to help UNICEF, and, obviously, her great style. I was wondering, what are some stores for teenage girls that are inexpensive, but still have that classy vintage look she was so well known for? Thanks in advance.
I think combining classic pieces like that which can be found at Ann Taylor stores with 1940/50 pieces you can find at thrift stores or vintage stores would be a great place to start.
Find old photos of her on the web/mags/books and take them with you when you shop. That way you have something to go by and compare when you think you found the right pieces.

She didn't seem to go for a lot of print, she seemed to favor clean lines and dark colors and she loved Chanel. In fact, that would be a good start-- Google "Chanel Sixties" for ensemble ideas.

P.S. It may take a while, though, to find some things so be patient =) [ darknessrage's advice column | Ask darknessrage A Question ]
