So tired of rumors

Question Posted Tuesday December 4 2007, 10:12 pm

Ok, i am new to a high school (freshman), and i really like this guy, who is also my friend, unfortunately, i did not yet kno which of my friends to trust...Practically everyone knows now, and a couple people don't stop creating drama off of the situation. It's ridiculous. I can't tell if the guy likes/liked me or not, but if he doesnt, i couldnt blame him. I sent him an email, which i think will help, but idk what to do about all of the people talking/perpetuating rumors. i would like to keep my new friends though....maybe just not trust them as much...I really like him, but i just dont know how to "have my cake and eat it too" Thanks

Well, you need to talk to that guy and clarify what is true and what isn't so he knows what to believe. It would probably be better if you talked to him in person so he knows you are serious.

As for your new friends, why keep a friend you can't trust? There is no point in that kind of friend, because you are supposed to be able to trust a friend.
