did they really stop making the small ipod nano's if so y

Yes. Usually when any type of technology is updated, they stop making them. You can still probably find them around, but now that there's a new generation of iPods out, those are the 'new' nanos that are going to be sold all over.

Yes, which I dislike because I lost mine or it was stolen or something. They update them every so often. You may be able to find the ipod nanos online & possibly in some stores, but most likely they have been taken off the shelves & won't be sold by apple anymore. There's definately some on Ebay & Google though.
