friend with problems

Question Posted Thursday November 29 2007, 9:19 pm

I have a problem. Well actually, my friend has a problem. She's been drinking and doing drugs and she is ruining her life. I keep trying to talk her out of it, but she just keeps doing it. She is really smart, but she's just going down the wrong path. What can i do to make her stop and get it through to her that she's being stupid?

You just have to keep supporting her and trying to get through to her.
What she needs is a wake-up call. She needs a reason to stop doing stuff like that, or she's never going to. She has to want to change. Because when it comes down to it, you can say all you want. But the change has to come from inside her. If it starts getting really out of hand, you might want to consider notifying a parent or an adult you really trust.
I wish you the best of luck, let me know how it goes!
