being on the radio? How would a person get into being on the radio? (Like having your own show, etc)
Would you go to college? Is it hard to do?

look around for community radio stations in your area. A lot of these places are volunteer-driven, and can always use another set of hands. You may not get a show right off the bat, but you'll learn the ins and outs.
There are schools devoted specifically to broadcasting, and a number of communications majors eventually go into the field.
Or you can just do an endrun around the whole thing and do podcasts. ]
my mom works for a radio station. the difficulty of getting in depends on how well known the station is. in a local radio station if you apply for a job there and they have an opening where they could put a radio show then they'll most likely hire you. i've been doing commercials since i was about 10 so no real experience is required. im sure if you went to college for it it'd look good at a radio station but if you do go to college for it then maybe make it your minor and major in human resources, psycology or something related to "connecting with the people".
