So. I want to start the "cabbage soup diet" or whatever it's called. Has anybody done it? If you have just tell me what the effects are and how long I should do it for. I want to lose like, 15 pounds?

I tryed this diet and i didnt stay on it very long probably about 4 days. The soup was very groose. I am doing weight watchers and i have lost 60lbs.. I would look weight watchers

If you mean the diet as described on this page: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location), I really wouldn't recommend that you do it at all.

It is stated on the site itself that most of the weight that you will lose on this diet is water.

While you might lose weight on this diet, any weight that you lose is likely to be gained back quickly as soon as you stop. A diet that requires you to cut out specific food groups is not a good long term plan, so chances are that you won't keep up with it for too long. (Also, even on the site itself it is recommended that you only go for one week at a time.) You are better off getting into a more sustainable healthy eating plan straight away if you want to lose weight and keep it off.

If you still want to do it anyway, the site itself states that you should only do up to one week at a time.
