i'm gay... how do i tell my mum?

Thanks for your question.
Firstly, you need to know if you are 100% gay before "coming out the closet".
If you are then there a many different approaches. I guess it depends on the relationship you have with your mum. Are you close to her? Do you tell her things about your life? If so, I feel the direct approach would be a good idea. Sit her down, then tell her straight.
"Mum, I think I'm gay"
or a long winded way of telling her, like;
"Would you love me no matter what? Well, I'm gay.."
I've heard those to work best to be honest.
If you feel a direct approach is too much for you, write her a letter.
Or subtly hint at it - but this may take a while, so it's better to just do it quickly and get it off your chest.
Your mum may be a bit shocked at first. If she is, she will probably come round to the idea eventually - after all, I guess she wants what's best for her son.
