exercise every day and go and see a psychiatrist.

it means your brain is craving the hormone Seratonin, which makes you feel happy.

how long has this been going on?

Believe it or not, excersize helps. You could also check

www.cymbalta.com
www.depression.com

Depression is pretty common. You may want to check that out.
