im 16/f and I live in Ohio.
I want to get a job, so I dont have to ask my parents for money, to buy my boyfriend his x*mas gifts this year. I just went to taco bell to get an application. But I play basketball, and I dont know what to put done for the times I can work, bc our times change in basketball, and games and such.. We get out of school 3 and sometimes have practice at 330-530.
So would working 6-10 be good hours?
Would they even hire me bc I would need days off and such.. Also, my grandma has cancer, and we go see her on saturdays, so would they be okay with that also?
So my questions are...
What hours should I put done, or just wait and see if I get a call back..
What would they say about me playing basketball and need saturdays off(but if they need me, Ill work.)
THANKS! =D

For example, maybe you never have games on Monday and Wednesday. Put that you can work on those days from 6-10. It may sound tiring, but 6-10 is great. I work 5-10 and I love it.
Its inevitable that you'll need to work some Saturdays. Lots of teens are hired at Taco Bell and they all have a busy schedule, so unless you have an organized thing planned on each Saturday, you will most likely need to work. Put down that you can work on Saturdays, but have someone cover for you every now and then so you can visit your grandmother. Finding coverage is easy, there is always that one person that wants to work a lot.
And work Sundays.
You'll be busy, but you can find at least 3 days a week to work.
Plus, they'll like the fact that you're involved in a sport and you still want to work. That shows that you're a hard worker and you're not afraid to take on a challenging, busy lifestyle. Good luck :) [ boxocrackas's advice column | Ask boxocrackas A Question ]
