Oily Hair Question

Question Posted Monday November 12 2007, 10:40 pm

I wash my hair every other day, to keep it healthy and prevent stripping away of natural oils. I feel though, that in between washings, my hair tends to get pretty oily at the roots.
Are there any natural ways to soak up excess oil at the roots?

I have to agree with the baby powder. It works wonders. just make sure you dont use too much or your hair will look a bit white. So make sure to pat/rub it in. I used it on my bangs and roots.

this may seem weird, but if you put a little bit of baby powder in your hair it will make it look less oily and will absorb it. Its perfectly healthy and fine. Be sure to not put it to much or you will look like a powderpuff.

I don't know much about this but when you put on conditioner you could always not put it in all throughout your hair but only at the roots so that you will get the moisture at the ends where it is most needed. You could awlays go to sally's beauty supply becuase they hvae a lot of great hair products for all of your problems.
