boyfriends 16th birthday

i'm fifteen, and my boyfriend turns sixteen in december. a month and 2 days actually.
i'm not exactly sure what to get him, and if i do
get him something.. should i get him something for his birthday and christmas? or like.. really nice thing for both..

Make him food, guys love food. And I would get him maybe a small gift for his birthday [cd or something?], and then just say "there's more to come" and give him another gift or two on Christmas [whatever he'd like, I'm sure you know him well enough to know what he wants. Plus he'll probably like anything you get him]. But yeah I definitely recommend making him food, especially dessert.
