The hook on my braces on the left side of my mouth keeps snagging on the side of my mouth. Like whenever I yawn or chew, it hooks on the side of my cheek. Now there's like a sore there. I tried the wax my orthodontist gave me, but it doesn't work for it. I also tried putting little wads of tissue between the hook and mouth, which worked, but whenever I eat, I end up swallowing the tissue wad, and it also bulges, making a little bump where it is. Any advice on how to make it stop snagging?

Also, to help the irritation swish salt water in your mouth. [ stacicheers_ohyes's advice column | Ask stacicheers_ohyes A Question ]
