trip.

Question Posted Sunday November 11 2007, 5:18 pm

alright so me and my friend reaaaaaaally want to go to disney world - we're 15. there's one problem my mom or her parents won't want to take us. so we wanted to just go by ourselves....but the answer is mainly no. we really want to go - how can we convince them to let us?

we're saving up for everything on our own so that really isn't a problem for them.

thanks :]

Have you and your friend sit down with both your mom and her parents. Explain how you're both being mature, and seeing as you are saving up for it on your own, the trip will be very important to you and it'll be a wonderful experience.

Try to compromise. Politely ask them why they feel so strongly about you not going. I mean, it's Disney World, it's supposed to be all magical and stuff! Hehe, it's not like it's a bad place to go.

Hope you get to go and hope you have fun!
Oh, hope I helped, too! Haha, good luck =D

Well, you need to think, it's not unreasonable for your parents to be hesitant to let two teenage girls off on their own to a huge amusement park. How far away is it from where you are? You could see if an older sibling, or a trusted adult who is responsible take you, like a cousin, family friend, aunt, etc. Besides that, there's not much else you can do, I think. Show your parents that you're not careless, and that you can take care of yourselves. So, good luck and hope you can find someone!
