Dying my hair .... Okay well I have recently dyed my hair black and I've heard that if you dye your hair black and you leave the dye in for months without re-dying it then your hair starts to fall out ? is this true if it is , why ?

That doesn't make sense. You'll dye it once then you'll have to dye it again.. so it doesn't fall out ? Then you'll have to repeat that again. So no, it's not true coming from someone who has dyed their hair many times and let their hair 'breathe' for a whole year. I'm nowhere near bald. Your hair still grows.
If you dyed it black, then it will stay for months or possibly a year. The only thing that will happen is that your natural color [roots] will show. Your hair won't fall out. You may get split ends if you don't keep your hair healthy with deep conditioning treatments sometimes. ]
The only thing that happens is your roots start showing! ]
No worries, it's an old beauty myth. Totally false. ]
