First of all by braking the hymen i'm guessing you mean stretching or tearing it. Yes if a guy or yourself fingers your vagina very hardly or tries to put more than one finger up at at a time can cause the hymen to tear which will be painful. This can also happen on your first time having sex, as to it causing the pain or the actual sex part it depends on a lot of things. Sex shouldn't usually hurt sometimes it can be painful if your vagina isn't wel lubricated (wet) this will cause friction which is painful for both sex partners.

Hope this has helped

xx
