If you have the herpes virus, can you donate blood? or would it give someone else herpes?

I don't think you're allowed to.
I'm pretty sure you can't give blood if you're:
- Gay/bi-sexual.
- Freshly tatted up.
- AIDs infected.
It all depends though. I know that when the blood drive comes to my school, the gay students cannot give blood.
Call your local Red Cross & see how that works. I've never given blood before, so I honestly don't know.
