I am a bit of a pathological liar, but the thing is I only lie to certain people. For example, I tell a person everything is ok when its not only because I don't want them to know that I'm upset or in pain. These people are people who either don't like me or want to see me fall or upset. How do I stop the lying without letting them win?

If it's people who don't like you, you don't owe them anything. Lying to your friends is one thing, but telling someone who wants to see you hurt that you are fine, is a nonissue. [ beckyboo's advice column | Ask beckyboo A Question ]
