When do you learn a split jump? Before axel, after axel? What freestyle level?

Hey i figure skate, i'm from Canada i don't know where you from but i find that your coach will teach you when they think you are ready or else just ask, i'm sure they will answer. or start practicing in you living room and when your coach starts teaching you one you can amaze them! good luck!

My friend has ice skated and she says she learned how to do a split jump before axel, and at freestyle free.
