pregnancy

Question Posted Tuesday November 6 2007, 11:22 pm

okay, well i'm just curious about this.
i'm on my period, and i gave my boyfriend a hand job. and he skeeted/cummed in my hand and i wiped it off, and i went to go change my pad and stuff and it touched the bottom of the pad. can i get pregnant by that?

and can you get pregnant when you're on your period? (no i did not do it when i'm on it, i'm just wondering)

is there any other way you can get pregnant besides vaginal sex?

1) You cannot get pregnant from touching the bottom of the pad, so no worries there.

2) Absolutely, you can still get pregnant while you're on your period.

3) YG is correct, the only way you can get pregnant is from sperm entering your vagina. Which does happen through vaginal sex, but it could also happen if you took your hand (while you had the sperm on it) and put it directly in your vagina or if it somehow leaked into the vagina, you would have a chance of becoming pregnant. But as I mentioned before, you can't get pregnant from touching the bottom of the pad.

Yes indeed you can get pregnant while on your period. Sperm can live for quite some time in a nice warm place. Anytime you have unprotected sex there is the possibility of pregnancy. Don't believe anything different.

To get pregnant sperm must enter the vagina. It can get there via the penis or from unwashed hands (though rare, it can happen). Pre-ejaculate can also contain sperm. Never let him enter you "for just a minute".

1.You wont get pregnant if you touched the pad.
2. You wont get pregnant when you are on your periods. I dont know why people say that. I have a scientific reason for it. During your periods, the egg is discharged through the fallopian tube along with the walls of the uterus. It happens because the egg does not get fertilised and hence is wasted. It comes out as your periods. Since there is no egg hence the question of getting pregnant does not arise.

If all you did is touch the bottom of the pad then no, you won't be pregnant so you've not really anything to worry about on that part.

As for being on your period and falling pregnant - yes, you still can. Only sure way not to do so is to be protected. :) For the rest of your questions the other advisor already pretty much already answered them. :)

You should not be pregnant, but there is always a chance.

There still is a chance that you can get pregnant on your period.

Yes there are ways you can get pregnant besides vaginal sex. Some include:

Anal sex (Sperm may run down and enter the vagina)
Masturbation (Sperm may squirt or come in contact with vagina)

Hope i helped.
