hollister clearance items
I was just wondering, how come most of the stuff that's on clearance on the hollister website usually can't be found in the store? like sometimes i'll go out to buy something on clearance from hollister that i saw on the site isn't there.

Well. The stuff is SOOOO out of season so it is only there.

Every store has a different inventory. If everyone goes and buys a pink fleece on clearance from Elerald Square, obviously that store will no longer have the pink fleece. When you buy online, you're buying what's left over in the warehouse. So, something could no longer be in the warehouse, but still be in a store. It works both ways.

clearance stuff usually sells faster so that particular store you went to may already be out of that item..or the item may have never been on clearance at that store because they might have sold all of it before it went on sale.

it might be because their discontinuing that item, which is why its on clearance.
[i'm sure you've seen stores going out of business sell all their stuff up to 70% off]
so if they don't make any more of that item, you can't really stock up the stores.

maybe its because sinse its on clearance they want to still make money by charging you on shipping and handling. well thats what i think.
Another possibility is they run out fast, people do want cheaper stuff.
