Period Well I just got my first period on November 1st, and then it was brown. So I knew it was my period, then later, I put in a pantiliner in case, then it was probably covered like umm. Half of it? In like light redishh. So I then put in a pad, and like nothing came out, it was like 2 spots. At night, I also put in a pad, and then there was like nothing. When I was at school, only like a bit, dried blood. That was like the second day. So then on the third day, i probably thought it might be more regular but no... When i use a pad, nothing comes out. When i use a pantiliner, then there is like blood. But not a lot. Now like today, i used a pad and same problem. NOTHING! and then pantiliner, then yes. Whats wrong? Will it get more normal the next time i get my period? oh yeah, and im 13/f. And im Canadian if that helps?

This is because it's your first period, and when you're starting out -- your period is irregular, and can be for many years after that. I've been on mine for about four years now and I'm still not regulated. And that's perfectly normal. So please don't worry yourself to death, everything is okay and normal. ]
If it is your first period dont worry. It usually takes bout a year for it to get regular, also do not plan on it to come every moth either for about the first year. What you are seeing in the difference in the paintiliner and the pad is that the paintiliner is alot thinner than a pad so the pad is going to absorb more and it will go inbetween the bottume and the service where you see you will see more in the pantiliner it will show more because it is not as absorbant. Hope that makes since. ]
Alright, first off I'll let you know that I'm a guy, and I'm just telling you this from experience with my girlfriend and almost 19 years of wisdom have taught me. It really shouldn't have anything to do with whether you use a pad or a liner. As weird as it sounds, it's almost definitely just a huge coincidence. It should start strong for the first couple days and then get much lighter on the third day, maybe a little on the fourth. At 13, I believe periods can still be very irregular, especially if you're a small girl or hit puberty late. Have you lost a lot of weight recently? Are you eating well and staying hydrated? I hope you're not at 13, but are you sexually active? All these things can cause irregularities. I wouldn't worry about it too much, but if it's irregular next month, or if you're really worried about it, go to a gynecologist just to be sure. ]
