What do they usually have you do at tryouts for a freshman basketball team? (mens)

Maybe give some free advice about: Sports? superstarblue89 answered Saturday November 3 2007, 1:25 pm: ok well I know that at my school we separate tryouts between freshman and sophomores and juniors and seniors...but they all do the same thing in tryouts. You'll usually run a little bit to warm up and then do some drills just to make sure your athletic endurance is up...after that he usually divides the people trying out into teams of 5 and then they play for a while and he can see what they're capable of...he'll do the same thing for the older students the next day and then deliberate on who makes Junior Varsity and who makes Varsity and post the lists in a couple days [ superstarblue89's advice column | Ask superstarblue89 A Question ]

They usually have you do drills, Like lay ups, shooting, dribbling, passing. Then they will probably let you play 5 on 5 for a half hour or more.
