Eyebrows,

Question Posted Sunday October 28 2007, 12:29 am

Ok I hope this isn't weird, but do you think it's ok to get nail clippers and clip your eyebrows

i just want to clip one, cause there's one under my right eyebrow, and it's annoying, and it looks weird.
but would it grow back?
do you think i should get them waxed?
i mean, i thought it'd be ok cause people PLUCK them, but i can't do that, i know its going to hurt, but if i hafe to, i guess i will.
but if i hafe to do that, can someone give me a site, to explain how to do it.

or is it just simple, grab the hair and pull it?
thanks a bunch.

If it's going to hurt by plucking, don't you think it would be worse with nail clippers? Believe me, it would defintely be worse. And it will do a poor job. Especially, if it's only one hair, just take your tweezer, latch on to the hair and pull. Do not yank, just pull (many people yank the hair really hard, and that's why it hurts).

I think the best way it to pluck them. I have tried once and it doesn't hurt a bit. But, if you don't want to have it plucked, get a wax. Do not use nail clippers. Good luck!

If it's just one hair, pluck it. Pull the skin taught and quickly pinch it with the tweezers and pull. It doesn't hurt and it won't grow back as quickly.
If you want to keep the rest of your eyebrows in shape, you can use either plucking or waxing. I feel waxing should be done by a professional, though. The good thing with plucking is you can take your time to shape them etc.

If you have a very low pain tolerance, you could even ice the area. Applying vaseline will make it easier, too.
Plucking really isn't as bad as it seems. :)
