Acting weird =(
17/f... so there's this kid and we like each other and he says he's gonna ask me out soon. but the thing is, I honestly don't think he likes me anymore and it's getting me down. like, when he first told me he liked me, he'd be all happy to see me and compliment me all the time and always want to be with me. but now, it's like he just doesn't care anymore. plus, his ex-girlfriend is still in love with him and he talks to her about 75% more than me. I've talked to him about this twice already and my friends (without me asking them to) have confronted him mulitple times as well. I just don't understand why the hell he promises he likes me and tells me all the time but never ACTS like it. it would hurt alot less if he just stopped leading me on and just told me WHY he's been acting this way. I don't even know what to do anymore; I like him alot and he claims he likes me, but he is always with his ex, who he claims he has absolutely no feelings for. is it worth it to still pursue him? Should I just act like I don't care and see how it goes, or keep persistenly asking him about it? Please help; I'm seeing him all day tomorrow (and his exgirlfriend is gonna be there, too. =( eh.)

this situation happened to me almost exactly like this..
i tried to act like i didnt care but it ate me up inside not knowing what was going on. not saying that this will happen to you, but i ended up letting myself keep pursuing him, and got shot down. and it sucked. and your right - it would hurt a lot less if he wouldnt keep leading you on, so tell him that. just say "look idk how you feel about me, but im not just gonna hang around wondering what you want. you need to tell me because the more i hang on, the worse itll be if you decide you dont want anything with me" he'll prolly feel like a bit of an ass if he doesnt stay with you, and if he DOES - then, well, there you go.

Don't pretend like you don't care because after reading your question I seems like it bothers you a lot. You have to ask him to make a decision between you or her and if he doesn't make a decision than you are better off without him. It's not a bad thing that he talks with his ex sometimes but if he talks with her a lot, then that seems a little odd and strange. As for the him-maybe-not-like-you part, if his feelings have changed for you, then his feelings have changed for you. Sorry but I mean there's nothing you can really do about that. Tell him that if he wants to be with you that he's running out of time because hearts change and so does your mind.
