i really want a typewriter.
i would love a nice, old, vintage (but working) one but all the ones on ebay don't work.
is there a company that makes new ones that look like the old ones?
what are some good name brands of typewriters?
and how does a ribbon work?
missbananafontana answered Tuesday October 23 2007, 6:41 pm: Go to Wikipedia for info on typewriters. I have a Universal brand typewriter that I got at a local antique shop, and I am sure that you will be able to find a nice one somewhere in a local shop in your area. Just browse around and maybe you can look in your grandmother's attic or something. Hope I helped! [ missbananafontana's advice column | Ask missbananafontana A Question ]
