SqUeAkYsHoEs answered Sunday October 21 2007, 2:27 pm: College visits are mainly provided for potential student to get a feel for the school and decide if they enjoy the environment. I suggest you try to go, even take a weekend trip if necessary, because it truly can help you decide if the college is right for you.
However, not taking a visit to the campus shouldn't hurt your chances of admission. The only possible way it could get back to the college is if an admissions officer asked you in an interview if you had taken a visit. Even so, the admissions officer wouldn't count that against you unless they were really unsure weather or not to reccomend you for admission.
