Basically, the guy that came up with "I think therefore I am" was trying to answer questions about reality. He wanted to prove that we actually exist, and were not being controlled by robots, or some higher being, or whatever. So he came up with "I think therefore I am". Since you can form thoughts for yourself, you do exist.
This does not apply to other people, though-- every single other person can be a figment of your imagination, or simulations placed here in some twisted game controlled by a higher being, where you are the only real person, or whatever. But in the end, "I think therefore I am" proves that you do exist. [ beckyboo's advice column | Ask beckyboo A Question ]

your opinions on things and how you think make you who you are right? =]
