My boyfriend broke up with me the other day and I'm having a lot of trouble dealing with it...
I totally understand why he did it as well and I'm not angry and I don't think it's a stupid reason at all. But somehow that makes it worse, that I can't like focus all this onto anger or whatever. It just makes me angry at the situation and so torn apart that he doesn't feel the same way as I do.
There is nothing I can do to get back together with him and I know this. But this doesn't stop me feeling as though everything has fallen apart. I know this probably sounds lame and I always used to think it was lame when people act like this, but I have never been dumped before, especially not by someone I thought I was genuinely in love with (who never loved me back.) I really don't want to feel like this anymore, I know it isn't fair on him because it really is better for him (and probably me, to be honest) this way and I'm just making him feel guilty. Does anyone have any tips at all on getting over it? I know that it'll only take time to truly get over it, but just to get out of this horrible stage? Thnx. By the way, I don't really want to say my age, but it definitely isn't as young as you'd think from reading this, this isn't just some teenybopper thing.

You're right though - the only truly effective way of getting over a break up is to give it time.
The links should help you take your mind off things though.
I'm sorry for what you're going through and I really hope you feel somewhat better about the situation very soon. Chin up girl. [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
