Elcee answered Monday October 15 2007, 9:18 am: If you are both over the legal age, then you have a right to a private life. However, if you are under that age your parents have a right to be worried for you. You are both being sensible in using contraception and if you are confronted by your parents you need to point this out. From a parents point of view, it is always worrying when your child begins having sex because of all that it entails (STDs, pregnancy, lack of maturity to deal with any consequences), so please listen to what they have to say. It may be that your boyfriends parents were just embarrassed about finding out that their son was growing up. I hope it goes well with you both. Take care.
