hair! semiperm?

has anyone gotten a semi-perm for their hair? my hair is stick straight and i dont have that much volume so im looking to add curls for volume. the first week it will still hold right? i hope a few washes it wont uncurl!! :( after abut do i need to get regular touchups? whats the upkeep?

Well, for a regular perm, you can't wash your hair/get it wet for 24 hours, or it'll uncurl. If you maintain it properly, your hair will hold the curl; just ask your hairdresser or perm-stylist for tips. I personally would go for a curl-boosting serum or cream from Sephora or a beauty salon. This way the hair won't be damaged by the chemicals used in perms. Hope I helped!
