15/f I'm new to the whole bf/gf thing right now, but I reallllly like the guy I'm with, and I want to show him, but I don't know how. We hold hands and he puts his arm around me and stuff, but what else? We aren't very close right now... so I don't want to move too fast, but I want to start something up.

HectorJr answered Saturday October 13 2007, 8:20 am: Be his best friend. Make sure you make him yours. if you can accomplish that much, then you guys should be set for years. I mean I know it doesn't always work for everyone, but for the people that I personally know have lasted together more than a year, its because they are also best friends. Talk to him about everything and be there to listen to him. In terms of physicalness, don't worry about it. Don't go too far with each other too soon, it will mess things up. Also, anything 'cute' that you want him to do or say to you...is what you should do for him. Hope that helped and good luck. [ HectorJr's advice column | Ask HectorJr A Question ]
Thief answered Saturday October 13 2007, 4:38 am: well that's good that you feel this way, normally when things turn up like this, they usualy mean sex. Well i would say please don't cause then even if you use protection you could get pregnet and then your boyfriend will end up leaving you, i've seen and heard this before. You don't have to necessarly have sex to start something, why not just talking to him about things you both have a passion of. something with trust ya know? my GF and i don't have sex and we have a connection. She gave me a ring and i wear it all the time, cept when im in the shower. You guys would exchange necklases or rings, not as a marragfe thing or a "promise ring" cause those are lame, more like a connection ring, a symbol that you and him are bonded. May sound out of the ordinary but in this life we live in what is ordinary anyway? like i said who knows? maybe it'll work? anyway i hope this helps and good luck ^^ [ Thief's advice column | Ask Thief A Question ]
