An 'ouija' board is basically a board with all the letters of the alphabet on it as well as numbers. You and some friends put your fingertips on something like a coin or whatever comes with the board if you buy it. The idea is that you and your friends ask the spirits some questions and what you have your hands on should move independently without any actual help from your hands to spell out messages from the spirit world. However there is no real way to know if your friends are moving it or not.
I'm pretty sure you can buy an ouija board at toys r us. Hasbo makes them. You can also make one at home with scraps of paper for letters and something to guide your hands around. Theres really nothing sacred about it - I'm not sure why it supposedly works. There is no REAL proof that an ouija board works unless you've used it, but even then the results can't be trustworthy to a group of outsiders. Like I said before, you can't be sure if it wasn't just a friend playing a joke on you. Its like ghosts - a lot of people don't believe in them until they have an experience with one. There is only one way to prove an ouija board works. I wouldn't recommend it.
I've heard too many bad stories about them. If you honestly want to try one then I hope you aren't doing it seriously. Not to be dramatic, but you probably wouldn't like the result. [ spookykiwi's advice column | Ask spookykiwi A Question ]
