Well, here are some places me and my friends hang out.

Go downtown, go out to eat, go to the beach, go to a plaza where there's a lot of stores, go to a coffee shop, go to an ice cream shop..

my friends and i usually go downtown to hangout. There are lots of little coffee shops with great atmosphere where we can sit around, hang out, and play games. (great for rainy nights!) there are also a lot of restaurants in our downtown that we go to between just walking around, and hanging out. if the weather permits, outside is a great place to hang out. if you go downtown and just walk around, or walk around anywhere outside it should be fun.
