rocky horror picture show is a movie. but its also a play and a show. the play is when charcters put on the movie. the audience puts in participation by shouting, lighting lighters, or poppign gloves. its a lto of fun. ive gone to the shwo and i loved it. one warnign though a lot of cursing and sexuality. so be warned. and if youre a virgin 9 first tiem seeign it0 watch out. they put red vs on virgins and make them go up on stage before the play starts and perform stupid tasks. have fun at the play!

OMG the rocky horror picture show is the most amazing show ever!
It was originally a movie, yes.
Butttt now it is also performed by people in front of the movie meaning the screen is in the back with the movie playing and some actors dress up and act everything out in front of it.
you really have to see it...
the audience sometimes dresses up [that was more in the 70s when it was a cult thing] but the audience participates by shouting out lines, etc.
If you need anything else, let me know. I recently saw it live in NYC. <3 ]
its a movie but they show the movie well peopel perform it live somewhere like the people at home watch the movie and some people can go to the place when they have it and dress like them and watch it live. My dads friend went they all do the dances and everything its pretty fun. ]
Rocky Horror Picture Show was originally a play turned into a film. Yes, in some cities at art house theatres (such as Bloor Cinema in Toronto) they screen the film for patrons who dress up as chracters. Often they might bring props and prizes are given out. ]
