It depends how you, personally look at it, so of course they realize what they're putting down.

That's exactly what it means. I don't have facebook, so I didn't know that was an option on the profile, but I think maybe some people are trying to be funny. Buy hey, then again, some people like random hook-ups, so they may be telling the truth.
