I am writing to ask whether at the end of this year, to be a day boy or stay as a boarder at the all boys school I go to.
I joined the school 2 years ago, year 9, thinking that this would be a good experience, but this was not right. Firstly, I'm a person who likes to have some time that is quiet, but you don't get any of that here: everybody shouts or they are crazy. This makes me have headaches and wants me to just sit in my room. However, I run a small shop to make some money to go to Costa Rica on a World Challenge expedition, which makes my room pretty popular - contrary to me.
Last year I was picked on by people in my year, making me feel and act like a spastic/retard, and that really made me want to go home. But if you read my other question, I hate my stepdad and want to be as far away from him as possible.
Now in year 11, I can't decide what to do because at the end of the year, I can choose to live at home. Please help me!
It sounds like you are your step father have some issues but you are older now! You have become your own person and have your own opinions!
You've been away from home for quiet sometime so i'm sure things might be a little bit different at home!
As far as the school goes, it doens't really sound like that you are a happy person there but your shop is the only thing keeping you there!
How many more years have to got left of school if you stay at the boarding home? If you think you can stick it out for a while longer and you have your shop to keep you occupied then stay..!
On the other hand if the bullying which mind you shouldn't be happening is that bad.. then you don't really have a choice but to go home!
At home you only have one person to deal with.. your step father! At school i'm sure there is more then one low life that has nothing better to do then to pick on other people to pass their useless time!
I'm sorry mate but only you can make this choice, we don't know what it really is like for you to be at home with your stepdad and we don't know what it is like for you at school!!
