what is that thing that you get on your tv and it has alot of channels? how much does it cost monthly?

There's two options I know of. Digital Cable and a satellite dish. Both have their strong points & weaknesses, your best bet is to ask what people who live near you have & what works better. Try using both interfaces before you order.

Can't find a site for satellite TV but you've probably seen an ad for Dish Network or someting similar; its nearly always cheaper than cable too.
