What are these bees called?

Green body.. black and white stripes. I'm having trouble using google. I'm finding -every- OTHER bee.

I've been curious of their name. I think they are stingless..? Not quite sure. I don't like bees so I didn't stick out for long :P

Any websites would be helpful. I don't seem to have researching skills. [Any tips?] Thanks!

Genus Agapostemon a type of sweat bee, they do sting but not severly just like a sweat bee (not bad)

Agapostemon virescens, a type of sweat bee. They do sting, though it doesn't hurt as much as regular bees.

I found this by searching wikipedia for bees:

If you look at the gallery, you can see this picture:

The caption states it's Agapostemon virescens, a type of sweat bee. Search for sweat bee:

and you get this statement:

"the common species are black, brown, red, or metallic green"

Your bee is metallic green. If you search google images for Agapostemon virescens, you get similar pictures:
