Remember to keep the skin moist with shaving cream. Remember not to use too much pressure, sometimes you do it without realizing it since you may not enjoy shaving and just want it to be other with. Wash the skin with cold water. Use a good aftershave gel, cream or lotion. I find that men products work well, especially for their shaving cream. If you already have razor burn, try using some aloe vera gel.

If it's too much pain, then stop shaving for a while and give your skin a rest. Once the hair reaches a certain length then go out and buy a new razor.. it should be easier to shave. Don't always try shaving when you see little hairs.. you'll just irritate your skin.

You can try waxing the sides and shaving the rest.

Taking a shower and keeping up good hygiene is the only way to make yourself smell "good". Don't use soap in that area. I heard there's some vaginal deodorants. Unless you have a yeast infection, you will smell okay.

Okay, first, no one is requiring that you shave your feminine area. If you wish though, you can shave it and then use baby powder, or wax it. Any of those two will work. If it really bothers you, please stop. I don't personally think you need to impress anyone by shaving it, but that part is none of my business. Hope I helped.
