theres ALWAYS a little bit of truth in every "just kidding." however, let him make the first move. if you dont like him dont act like you do because you're gunna either hurt him or your friendship in the end.

there is a possibility he's trying to hint something to you. if you like him, show him you're interested. if you don't like him, wait and see if he actually tells you, then tell him you don't like him, but don't just tell him right off the bat because he might just be joking around and then you'd feel stupid.
