Movie Reviews Hey, I have to write a 10 minute speech on 2 different movie reviews (5 minutes for each), one has to be of the FUNNY sort (maybe in a sarcastic way, like most critics write?) and one in a heartwarming, tear-bringing sort of way (written by anyone really) I have no problem motivating why I like an article, or what I don't like about it..so I figured this hw shouldn't be too difficult. The problem is that I can't find articles to talk about though! I knew the funny one would be hard, but I can't even find a sweet one online.. you'd figure lots of people would post about certain movies and what they meant to them and stuff like that?!?! Right?? And now time is almost up, and I have to write this project but I have nothing to write it about! Do you have any suggestions??
Thanks bunches!

Stick to professional film critics and not just what people post about movies on their own sites or forums. This might be why you are having trouble as you haven't focused on well-known or famous critics.
If you browse Roger Ebert's site you will find an assortment of humorous, sarcastic and heart-warming takes on different films. His site is www.rogerebert.com
You should also browse through the thousands of reviews from top critics all over the globe at rottentomatoes.com
If you have any more trouble send me a private e-mail to my inbox. I write articles for publication every now and again and can help you find some reviews but would prefer you attempt that on your own first.
If those two sites aren't helpful to you not much will be as they compile the best reviews out there.
You should look at the first paragraph of a review to determine the author's style and mood as it's a dead giveaway the kind of critique the writer usually gives and look for biases that appear there too.
It will narrow down your search if you can instantly recognize critics who may fit the bill by examining their leads or the paragraphs shown before you hit the Rotten Tomatoes links. ]
