According to IMDB the show which premiered in 2002 is still very much in production. From what I recall this show plus Life According to Jim were to be cancelled by ABC at the end of the 2006/2007 season.
From what I know both are back but as mid-season replacements for a show on hiatus or if a show tanks on the regular prime-time schedule for ABC. Evidentally, they had a change of thought.
