However, let me give you a little warning about Chocolates. My friend got one in March and it started having little spaz attacks a few months ago. The screen would go fuzzy and it would randomly call someone from her Contact List when she opened the phone or when she tried to text people. I don't know if this is a common problem with Chocolates, but be careful before you buy it. If the phone stops working, you'll have to buy another one and there will probably be some hidden fees to transfer your plan to another phone. [ Amarete's advice column | Ask Amarete A Question ]
canadiancofee answered Thursday September 20 2007, 3:44 am: A lot of LG chocolates are free now. There are two "hidden payments" most people don't know about.
1. You have to pay an activation fee
2. You have to pay for the first and last month of your service.
2.1. You have to pay taxes.
And Verizon is pretty pricey. $40 for only 450 minutes and no texting!?
beachbrunette92 answered Wednesday September 19 2007, 11:54 pm: i've had verizon forever. You get good service with them but thats about it. Compared to a track (pay as you go) phone, a plan is deffinantly the way to go because i know with my verizon i have unlimited nights (after 9) and weekends. WARNING: you have to keep the same plan and the same phone for TWO WHOLE YEARS. That might not seem like much but things can happen. If something does happen to you're phone within that time, then you have two choices. You can pay the early cancellation fee and get a new cellphone at the discounted price with a new 2 year contract, or you can buy a new phone at regular price (for my razr it's about 400 without the plan) and stay on your same contract. Hope that helps [ beachbrunette92's advice column | Ask beachbrunette92 A Question ]
