Red bumps

Question Posted Sunday September 16 2007, 12:44 am

I have these weird, redish colored bumps on my chest. At first I just thought it was acne, so I medicated it like I would if I had any zits on my face (masks, astringent etc), but it didn't work. The bumps only got bigger, and they won't go away. I've tried popping them, but when I do it really, really hurts. Every time I succeed in popping one it just gets redder and swells up and hurts. They look like zits but they're harder and once again don't go away. SO my question is, is this acne?
Should I go see a dermitoligist?
What else could it be?
It's really annoying and unattractive so I really want a solution. Thanks!

its probably acne, but if i were i would see a dermitoligist just in case. but if it is ancne dont pop it or it will just get worse, put hot compresses on it, put soap and water on it, and also if it is acne as your doctor about diffrin, i really worked for me. but while you are waiting to go to the dermitoligist try to put some cover- up, or some kind of make up over it. just make sure you wash it off later in the day.
hope i helped:]

I would assume that if it isn't responding to acne treatments, then your best bet is to get the opinion of a dermatologist. It may be acne, but obviously the conventional treatments haven't cleared it up.

Weather it is acne or not, they can give you something to treat it and make the bumps heal up and go away.

Most Likely, Its Acne.
Depending On Where It Is.
You Said Your Chest.. But Where On Your Chest?
Some People Get Acne On Their Back So Its Not Only For Your Face It Is Just A Common Place To Get It.
Yes I Think You Should Go To The Dermitoligist.
It Could Be Something Worse Than Acne ( not trying to scare you ) And You Are Better Safe Than Sorry. :]

Hope I helped You!!
