i cheated on my boyfriend :(
I am 20 years old and have been dating my boyfriend for 8 months last weekend me and my boyfriend got into a huge fight, and i thought he was cheating on me, which was friday, so i broke up with him, saturday i had a one night stand, sunday, i got over the fact my bf didnt cheat on me and was faithful cause i found out he was. so by monday we were back together. it has been a week and we were still together. last night someone told my boyfriend they saw me with the other guy. so i told him the truth that i never thought i was going to get back with him, so i partied and it happened. well he broke up with me, and now i am very sad. I love him more than anything and want to get him back. i have explained the situation to him. any advice as to getting him back? or what to say?

You can justify things however you want to. But you WERE unfaithful. You broke up with him based on your assumptions, not on fact, then slept with another guy, and got back together.
That, to me, is unfaithful to your partner. You showed him that he cannot trust you.
Honestly, your best bet is to throw yourself on the mercy of the court and see if he will forgive you. I dont know him, I dont know if he can, or if he even wants to. I dont know many guys who would still be willing to date you after this, I myself would not.
Just be intelligent and mature enough not to do stupid things like this in the future.

See, you were broke up Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
How is it cheating when you thought it was over? This whole one night stand would have had no effect if you wouldn't have gotten back together Monday, so why should it have effect now?

I have very little advice on this, so hopefully someone can come in after me and add on- But OUCH, babe, you screwed up.
I don't want this too seem to harsh, but I want you to remember that revenge isn't always so sweet. See what position you've put yourself in by trying to 'do to him what he did to you'. Turns out he didn't, and then you wrongfully broke his heart.
It seems like this guiy DOES want to be with you though, because he wouldn't have gotten back with you that Monday elsewise, so you have to show him now that you can be there for him and only him. That you were hurt and got the wrong signals from him, so you wrongfully wanted him to feel what you did. You need to suck up, kiss ass, and just be the great GF I know you are!
Send him a teddy bear with an 'I'm sorry' note, a mix cd showing your feelings for him in this situation- cute things that'll get to his heart.
Truth be honestly told, you may not get him back for a little bit, but I have full confidence YOU CAN.
