unlike some people(bananafontana) i will answer your question instead of ranting about my beliefs.
first off, think for a minute. do you really want to be wiccan? are you sure its not like a phase or because you thought one thing is cool about it. Now if you are sure then let's get to your mother. she probably doesn't want to accept that her child is interested in the wiccan religion. if she is a Jehovah's witness like your grandmother she wouldn't be too excited to take you to a wiccan place. make your mother understand that you are serious and that you will not change your state of mind. print or write down some of the things you have been searching. give her facts and things like that to make her understand you definitely aren't joking.

Whatever. It's a terrible thing to practice relgiously, and it's right for your mother not to take you seriously, 'kay?

Personally, I think "Wicca" is an anti-religious group that's morally wrong and a defiance to God, but that's nothing against you I guess. I think that Wicca is more like a craft, for entertaining (no cults or clans or whatever). If you think it's interesting and just that and not like a RELIGION, than for all means go for it. As a craft. As for a religion, I'd go for an individualist thing where there is no gatherings at any chapels, but you believe in God and Jesus as the son of God. Wiccan religious people are really actually quite insane and can go as far as cults where you cut yourself and accept Satan. Please for your spiritual safety, accept God and leave the thoughts of Wiccan religion behind.
